Van Gorder Family // Gum Grove Park

Early September my friend Emily had asked for a family session to get a step ahead on her holiday pictures. I was so thrilled at meeting her family! Not only are her daughters adorable but they are mini stars on the rise! One thing about being a photographer and a mommy is you don’t get in front of the camera too often, so I was thrilled to be able to capture Emily and her sweet family. We decided on visiting Gum Grove Park, a little hide a way mile long trail in Seal Beach.

Not only are family session fun but they are a great way to capture a glimpse of children’s infancy. The weather was nice and crisp with just enough warm from the sun. What I loved so much about this family session was that Emily being a former Disney performer and her girls constantly in front of the camera, this family was not only super comfortable but also super animated. Emily and her husband, Neil, were seriously one of the best couples to capture. They were fun and vibrant. Their energy radiated through my lens as I captured their smiles.
