Shabnam & Ali Engagement // Corona Del Mar

Shabnam and Ali are one of the cutest couples I've had the pleasure of encountering. I met Shabnam through my friend, owner of @PeoniesandPetals. Shabnam and Ali did not originally get any engagement pictures done. Although they had their photographer for the wedding, they did not have this particular session done. I met up with Shabnam at a local Starbucks. We discussed about possible locations and decided to with a beach setting. We all decided on Corona Del Mar, a beautiful beach with rocks and areas that over look the ocean. We set a date and time to meet along with styling suggestions. When the day came for their session, Shabnam totally blew me away. She wore this beautiful soft blush gown she had found in her closet. Let me tell you she looked stunning! They came along with Ali's sister and mother, who were the cheerleaders. 

When we got to the beach, I'm not going to lie, was a little overwhelmed at the amount of people that were still at the beach. Crowds from left to right because everyone was enjoying the temperature of the water. Needless to say I had to figure out the best spots to capture some great images without too many objects in our background. Now while I did not ask anyone to move, people saw we had a photo session going on and would willingly move out of the way, making it a lot easier to get the amazing shots I was able to capture. 

Shabnam and Ali are one of those couples you can't help but fall in love with. They were so willing to try new poses and step out of their comfort zone. Even in those moments they didn't realize how natural they were at just being themselves and focusing on their love for each other. A lot of it was really candid. I wanted to get as many natural poses as possible and these two rocked. Even when we hit the water, they were willing to just go with the flow. Now I must admit the water was unbelievable and I was so disappointed I did not bring swimwear for after the session. And once the session did end, I was so excited to share with them what I had captured!  

Shabnam and Ali, I absolutely loved capturing your engagement session. You are one of the cutest couples I've had the pleasure of working with and I can't wait to see what you look like on your wedding day!
